Fire Prevention and Firefighting at Hướng Hiệp 1 Power Plant

Recently, Vietnam Power Plant Management and Operation Joint Stock Company (VINAPOM) organized a fire prevention and firefighting (FPFF) training program for all employees. The program aimed to enhance awareness and skills in handling emergency situations. It was conducted on the premises of the Hướng Hiệp 1 Wind Power Plant under the direct supervision of local fire prevention officers

During the training session, fire prevention officers provided fundamental knowledge on the causes of fires and explosion prevention methods. They also guided employees on the proper use of firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers and automatic fire alarm systems. Additionally, simulated scenarios and practical exercises were conducted to allow employees to apply their knowledge in real-life situations, enhancing their ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

A representative from VINAPOM emphasized that fire prevention and firefighting training is an essential part of the company’s occupational safety policy. This initiative reflects VINAPOM’s commitment to employee and community safety while contributing to the creation of a secure and sustainable working environment.
